FAQ

FAQ

Is there an entry fee for the centre?

Yes there is a fee for visiting the display and sanctuary and malleefowl aviaries.

Will we be able to see live Malleefowl?

Yes we have 2 natural bush aviaries with Malleefowl in both.

Can I bring my dog?

No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the centre or sanctuary. But you are allowed to leave your dog at the front of the centre which is shaded and we can provide fresh drinking water.

When and where can I see the wildflowers?

Wildflower season starts about the end of September and through the end of November. We have a walking trail that is approximately 1km long and during wildflower season it has up to 20 different species of wildflowers. Every year there is the Ongerup Wildflower Show at the Ongerup Museum on Eldridge Street, it starts around the Middle of September and goes through to the first week of October. More information on the Ongerup Wildflower Show can be found on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/ongerupwildflowers

Do I need to book ahead?

Only if you have a group of 8 or more we require booking at least one week ahead.

Parking & Accessibility

We have a large drive through parking area that accommodates large caravans and buses.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm
